Technicians for Sustainability (TFS) is seeking an individual with a demonstrated commitment to sustainability to join our inspired team to work as a “Warehouse Technician” at our warehouse in Tucson.  This position calls for someone able to participate in refining the position and its related systems.

Job Description:

  • Stock, organize, clean,  and assemble inventory in warehouse and on installation vehicles (cars, trucks, and trailers)

  • Support installation crews in job preparations, including packing jobs for next day.

  • Complete supply and transfer of materials trips

  • Receive shipments, inventory, and receipts from freight companies.

  • Clean warehouse and maintain safe working areas Maintain tools and equipment, including safety inspections.

  • Help maintain TFS fleet of vehicles, including cleaning inside and out, taking to service appointments, etc.

  • Keep outside and inside of warehouse clean and presentable.

  • Work closely with Warehouse Coordinator and other staff in a collaborative manner.

 

Skills:

  • Detail-oriented with a high-level quality of work.

  • Personal commitment to and experience with sustainability.

  • Excellent teamwork skills – ability to foster a positive team environment through collaborative decision making and active communication.

  • Must be able to follow oral instructions/directions extremely well.

  • Knowledge of plumbing and electrical parts helpful.

  • Must possess valid driver's license

  • Able to utilize full range of motion, including standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 75 lbs., carrying, bending and reaching.

  • Preferred but not required: OSHA-10 safety certification

 

Compensation:  

  • Compensation range starts at $17-19/hr starting rate, with potential for increase (depending upon experience and skill). Paid time off and health insurance offered.

  • Full-time position. Benefits include profit share, health insurance, paid time off, opportunity for employee-ownership, and Employee Sustainable Systems program.
