Solar Support ADMINISTRATOR

  • Consultative communication: Learn to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and understand what matters most to each customer—whether that's environmental impact, energy independence, or financial savings

  • Educational outreach: Become skilled at translating complex technical information into clear, accessible explanations that empower informed decision-making

  • Customer relationship management: Build trust by guiding homeowners through their solar journey with patience, transparency, and genuine care for their best interests

  • Customer data systems expertise: Gain hands-on experience with managing a customer database, pipeline management, and data accuracy protocols

  • Stakeholder communication: Hone your ability to connect with diverse audiences via phone, email, and in-person interactions

  • Values-driven problem-solving: Develop the ability to match solutions to individual needs rather than applying one-size-fits-all approaches

What You'll Do:

  • Respond promptly via phone and email to homeowners interested in going solar, serving as their first point of contact and trusted guide

  • Listen carefully to understand each customer's unique goals, concerns, and values

  • Provide clear, honest information about solar options so homeowners can make the best decision for their situation

  • Schedule site visits and walk customers through our evaluation process with attention to accuracy, while building rapport

  • Manage customer data entry and system specifications with precision and attention to detail

  • Build authentic relationships with homeowners, helping them explore whether solar aligns with their needs

  • Maintain detailed records of all customer communications in our database

  • Provide general administrative support to the TFS team


What We're Looking For:

  • Strong listening skills and genuine curiosity about what matters to people

  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly without jargon or pressure

  • Excellent organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail

  • Creative problem-solver who can juggle multiple priorities and adapt to individual customer needs

  • Interest in solar, clean energy, and environmental sustainability

  • Capacity to work 38-40 hrs in the general 8 am to 5 pm range, Monday through Friday

  • Professional, patient, and empathetic communication style

  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in an open office environment

  • Alignment with our mission: we succeed when customers make the right choice for them, not when we make a sale

 

Compensation:
$20-22/hr to start, DOE, Full-time position.
